The Department of Chemical Engineering was established in
1989 and offers
UG, PG, MS and
PhD programs. The
IIChE students’ chapter, of the department is very active in organizing various programs for the Chemical Engineering students. It has been awarded the “
BEST STUDENTS’
CHAPTER AWARD “in the year
2007 and the “
SECOND BEST STUDENTS’ CHAPTER AWARD” in 2006 &2008 by IIChE, Kolkata.
